Data the extension handles

On supported AI chat websites, the extension may process:

• The current platform name.
• Conversation titles and links displayed by the website.
• Your selected and protected conversation state.
• Rendered user and assistant message text, but only when you explicitly choose Export full content.

The extension does not read or store account passwords, cookies, login tokens, API keys, unsent drafts, or information from unrelated websites.

How the data is used

Data is used only to provide the extension’s visible features: scanning the current supported page, filtering and selecting conversations, creating local export files, protecting conversations from bulk actions, and performing user-confirmed deletion where supported.

Before scanning a supported page, the extension presents an in-product disclosure and requires the user to choose Agree and continue.

Local storage and retention

Protected-conversation identifiers and the first-use disclosure choice are stored in chrome.storage.local. The scanned conversation list remains in page memory and must be scanned again after a refresh.

For full-content export, the extension opens selected conversations from the same platform one at a time in an inactive browser tab, reads the rendered text, and creates a Markdown, JSON, or CSV file locally. Exported files are saved only where the user chooses.

Removing the extension removes extension-controlled local storage through Chrome. It does not restore conversations deleted on third-party platforms.

Sharing and transmission

The extension does not transmit chat titles, links, message text, selections, or protected-conversation identifiers to the developer or to third parties. Data is not sold, used for advertising, used for credit decisions, or made available for humans to read.

Website access

The extension requests access only to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok. This access is required to read the conversation interface, create user-requested exports, and interact with user-confirmed deletion controls where supported. The extension does not access unrelated websites.

Remote code and security

All executable code is packaged with the extension. The extension does not load or execute remotely hosted code and does not use eval or dynamically downloaded executable code.

Connections to supported platforms use their HTTPS websites. The extension does not operate a separate backend service.

Third-party platforms

Conversation storage, deletion, recovery, and account behavior are controlled by the corresponding AI chat platform. Users should review each platform’s own privacy policy and retention practices.

Limited Use

The use of information received from supported websites is limited to providing and improving the extension’s user-facing export and cleanup features. The extension’s data handling complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Policy changes

If the extension’s data practices change, this policy and the Chrome Web Store disclosures will be updated before the new practices are introduced.
